Executing a trade

Confirming Your Purchase

Once users select their contract type, size, and position, they can confirm the transaction to complete the purchase. Upon confirmation, DegenTracts' smart contract system secures the trade details.

Smart Contract Execution

Once a trade is confirmed, DegenTracts' Solana-based smart contracts lock the invested SOL in escrow and track the contract's position on the blockchain. This ensures that the funds are securely held and only accessible for authorized settlement at the contract's expiry.

Contract Expiry

Contracts on DegenTracts might have different expiry periods, which fully depends on which timeframe user writes in the contract. The timerframes can range anywhere from 2 minutes all the way up to 31 Days. This expiry window is essential for tracking how your contract performs. The expiry timer is visible on each active contract, allowing users to monitor their position and evaluate its progress until the settlement. The contract can be canceled anytime, giving the user an option to cash-out their funds. However during the contract cancelation platform will be charging the cancelation fee which might be anywhere from 5% to 25%, depending on the scenario which that specific contract is in.
